With a passion for technology, science and practicality, Vera Blinova is a fashion designer from Moscow based in New York.

Before she entered MFA Fashion Design & Society program at Parsons, Vera dedicated her BFA collection in Moscow to exploration of future on another planet, where fashion cannot be executed in a familiar way.

Nowadays, her interest falls on designing as part of the solution, rather than self-expression. Many of her designs began with a scientific research, and as she experimented with different non-traditional materials and their structures, she has created products, that reflect innovation and functionality.
