Voranida is an emerging experimental clothing brand founded in 2018 by the eponymous brand designer and owner Voranida Rujekitnara. The brand philosophy is to create sculptural pieces that are not only practical as an everyday phenomenon, but also as a medium through which minimalism can be celebrated through modern cut using refined experimental and responsible material. They are elements of imperfections turned into appreciation, which set out to be the brand’s unique identity.
Voranida focuses on minimal yet desirable approach by twisting ideas to present our wearers with fresh and unfussy choices of designs and colours. Their aesthetic balances a masculine feel with a feminine cut in a circular fashion process.
The brand hopes to share surprising moments of Voranida garments with our customers from all around the world. Hoping to contribute to our wearer’s special days, we endeavour to always look for modern approaches and experiment our garments to enhance designs in order to expand our passions to a global scale.
With her ever-growing passion for design and love for garments, Voranida has graduated with a distinction in Bachelor of Arts Fashion Design from Accademia Italiana. The designer soon went on to work for a couple of leading Thai fashion brands for two years during which she has come to realise the need for truly fine skills and deeper knowledge for creating a set of desirable collection.
Voranida made her way to London to set out her passion and pursue her dreams by undertaking an MA in Fashion Design Technology Womenswear at the London College of Fashion. Here she had the opportunity as one of the few selected candidates to work in a collaboration project between Fendi and Saga Design Centre, Vedbaek, Denmark.
Along the start-up of the brand, her collection has fairly expanded its channels across UK and Europe. She has showed her collection during Helsinki Fashion Week and the designer will also be participating in Florence Descamps showrooms in Paris during Paris Fashion Week 2019. Voranida has been featured on British Vogue, Vogue China, Vogue Ukraine, Metal, Mess, and Forumist magazines.
