Weiran is a fashion designer based in New York City, born in Beijing. She is currently a MFA candidate in the Fashion Design and Society program at Parsons School of Design.

Weiran’s work uses digital techniques to reinvent regular objects in the world of fashion design. She aims to create a new visual language through digital manipulation and textile experiment, constructing new visual elements in three-dimensional spaces.

Through a series of transformation of augmented visual elements into textiles and silhouettes based on each species’ vision, the collection titled ‘Vision of Animals’ visualizes the alternative realities that human eyes can’t normally experience through fashion design.
