With a passion for using fashion as a media to convey art and concepts, Yu Gong is a Womenswear designer based in Shanghai, China.

While she was pursuing her BA in Donnghua University, Yu Gong was not only producing garments that are exerting a positive impact on the environment, but also underpinning a conceptual thinking process.

Fashion design is an unfinished business. Next autumn, Yu would continue her MFA Study in PARSONS, Fashion Design and Society. In the future, Yu would like the chance to work with people from across disciplines as they often lead her to see things from different perspectives. Believing fashion is more than clothes, she would love to produce a timeless design collection, reflecting and interacting more with society.
