YunRay always looks for a way to tell stories that he cares about, no matter it is social issues or personal journeys. He tends to use his own body to create performance art, with second-hand garments as mediums, and his movements as his draping and creative tools.
Upcycled second-hand garments are now the main source of material for YunRay. He finds the imperfections and marks of previous owners especially powerful, and he believes by creating something new from them, they can have a new layer of meaning for the next owner. It is about sustainability, but it is also about story-telling.
