ZHIQING ZHANG is a womenswear fashion designer based in China and London. He graduated from London College of Fashion BA Womenswear in 2017.

As a designer, ZHIQING’s work represents a playful and conceptual approach to modern womenswear with an emphasis on exaggerated silhouettes, unexpected proportions and bold use of colors. Through fashion, he is building a romantic and nostalgic world, a world full of quirky and fun characters.

In college projects, he focused on creating volume and structure as well as experimenting with lots of fabric manipulation techniques. Being a surface textile enthusiast, he prefers developing his own textile and fabric, which adds a certain depth and uniqueness to his work and makes the garments more personal and narrative.

Since graduation, ZHIQING’s collection has been featured on multiple media and press. His garments have been worn by American singer and Youtube sensation Poppy on her tour in 2019.
