Zihui Zhang is a recently graduated womenswear and menswear designer based in Switzerland.In the summer of 2023, Zihui graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni University. Prior to that, she has been focusing on fashion topics that encourage people to focus on minorities or underprivileged groups. She strongly believes that everyone should have the right to pursue fashion.

Her design collection continues to explore ways to incorporate elements of vulnerable topics. This collection is based on Zihui's personal experience with domestic violence and struggles with emotional disorders. Through these works, she hopes to encourage others to face their challenges and believe in themselves, and to call for more social attention to people with emotional disorders.

Zihui utilizes keywords such as depression and crying as a source of inspiration for her designs, combining personal experiences with in-depth interviews for social research in order to gain a deeper understanding of the inner world of depressed people. In terms of silhouettes, she mostly adopts self-protective poses as her silhouette inspiration. These clothing designs emphasize people's self-protective instincts under emotional distress, and through loose, soft silhouettes and design elements such as folding and covering, they present a wearing experience with a sense of security and concealment. Such designs not only show the inner vulnerability and loneliness of depressed patients, but also express understanding and respect for these patients.

Most of her collections are made of soft and warm knitted fabrics that wrap and protect the body, but also convey a sense of intimacy, reassurance and comfort. She not only showcases these stories through clothing design and art exhibitions, but also actively participates in community events and mental health organizations to provide support and a listening ear to those suffering from depression.
