GEMMA HILL

Gemma is a recent graduate designer based in York, she graduated from Leeds Arts University in 2018 with a BA hons degree in Fashion Design.

She has always been proud of her northern roots and appreciates the beauty of her city and its surrounding countrysides. By using the local nature and gardens of North Yorkshire as a main source of inspiration, Gemma’s Graduate collection has a notion of texture and surface pattern which have been formed into a crafted like feeling with an essence of nature. With her fascination of illustrative and textured detailing, she was instantly drawn to the idea of creating garments of tactility and surface.

Genieve Vasconcelos

Genieve Vasconcelos is a sustainable fashion designer of special, bespoke objects of desire, for people with taste and style.

"My concept initially started by attended an event called ‘Africa in Dancehall’ this led to me looking at the connection between slavery & church in dancehall, then I explored subculture, understanding it, as a place where people can live out shared identities or shared realities. To examine this idea deeper and give me a framework, I researched the history & evolution of Hip Hop, when I pooled all my research together, Graffiti was the visual representation of my findings = Energy, Sound & Movement. Graffiti became the source of inspiration for shapes, texture and colour."

GEORGINA JENKINS

Georgina is an eclectic menswear designer from the farm lands of West Wales. Specialising in mens tailoring while taking a light quirky approach to the traditional. When growing up Georgina was heavily involved with textiles, weaving and knitting. This interest came from her mother. Having these influences around from an early age allowed her passion for design to develop throughout her childhood.

Georgina’s graduate collection was inspired by a variation of artists but her main focus was taking distorted elements and turning them into energetic, colourful pieces within men’s tailoring through a mix of knit and fur.

GERALDINE WU

Geraldine Wu is a jewellery designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2018. She finds inspiration in rich cultures and histories, creating jewellery to tell stories and to highlight the hidden narratives held within these silent, ornamental objects.

By mixing tradition with contemporary, she blurs the line between past and present, allowing history and things of old to be rediscovered through a modern lens.

GOFEFE

Fei Fei Guo graduated in Fashion Womenswear from Qing Hua Arts College, a prestigious art school in China, in 2007. He soon found a passion for producing hand made leather accessories and established his brand GOFEFE in 2012. GOFEFE reconceptualises the language of bondage and BDSM in a playful manner to create accessories including harnesses, bags, keychains and lollipop cases.

His work includes bold or pastel colours as well as the more traditional monochrome palette found in bondage.

GONY HAN

Gony Han is a Fashion print designer based in South Korea and London. During the time when she was pursuing her BA in Textiles Print in Central Saint Martins, Gony developed her sense creating colour schemes and her skills with fabric printing techniques.

The garments are mainly made out of recycled-polyester, organic cotton, organic woven, organic denim, organic linen and fabrics from vintage clothing.

GRACE HAGGERTY

Grace Haggerty is a British menswear design graduate from the Winchester School of Art. Grace launched her graduate collection in June 2018 at The Vinyl Factory in Soho, London.

With a background in Fine Art and Photography, Grace takes inspiration from photographs, prints and structures. She experiments with existing garments, deconstructing each component, manipulating its proportions through a variety of pattern drafing techniques and draping on the stand, in an effort to create fun, oversized silhouettes, and a refreshing take on menswear.

GRACIE D’SILVA

Gracie D’Silva is doing BA in Fashion Design at Leeds Arts University, amongst interning at Oxfam Online and being a student ambassador at Fashion Revolution in her final year.

Previously having interned and worked for the likes of Julien Macdonald, The Sunday Times, Style magazine, Graduate Fashion Week and Eden Keshia. Gracie’s graduate collection explores textile waste and the lack of transparency within the fashion industry through upcycling and using circular design strategies.

GU CHIT A was founded by Shahnaz Natasha Imran, graduate from ESMOD Jakarta International Fashion and Business School, Indonesia in 2018 specialising in New Couture. An ambitious and highly creative designer that can make her into Best Fashion Design of New Couture in ESMOD Jakarta. Also being a top 10 finalist of Fashion Division for Paris fashion Week 2018.

Now GU CHIT A focused on a Ready-to-Wear Luxury collection. But still with deep research for the theme and ideas. Passionate in creating collection that involve handmade, details, exclusivity and luxurious, with the more simple silhouette, so everyone not only enjoy the artistic of it but also can wear it.
