DAM FASHIONS

Deborah Mack is a native of Charleston, SC and currently resides in PA with her husband and children. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Justice and Law Administration from Western Connecticut State University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Corporate and Political Communication from Fairfield University.

Deborah's love for fashion started back in high school. She always looked for ways to immerse herself in the world of fabric, clothing, and accessories. To show off her unique style, she organised a fashion show with male and female models using clothing she secured from several department stores.

DANA NICOLA

Dana Nicola is a London based womenswear designer, graduating with a degree in Fashion with Business from the University of Brighton . As a designer she focuses on bespoke womenswear within a dark luxury aesthetic, playing with a typically ‘alternative’ edge and attempting to find her place between ready-to-wear and luxury.

Nicola draws her inspirations from personal experiences, emotions and femininity, often playing on a line of nostalgia and could-have-beens, she realises her conceptual themes through a hands on, tactile approach, using reclaimed leathers and experimental approaches.

DAOYUAN DING

Daoyuan Ding is a menswear designer, graduated from UAL London College of Fashion MA Fashion Design Technology Menswear course. Ding worked previously at Uniqlo in Tokyo and Shanghai as a designer, and a local brand in Shanghai as menswear line founder before heading to London to earn a Masters degree in his passion.

Ding’s graduation collection, titled Migratory Vagueness expresses the vagueness of objects and human identities. It tells a story where nothing is really defined, represented by The Uncanny, in which the familiar is unfamiliar.

DAZZLE ZEXIAN LIU

Dazzle Zexian LIU was born in Guangdong Province, China, and graduated from Beijing Institute of Fashion Design, and then went to Fashion Department of Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, to study and complete a BA. She loves life and is keen to transform what she sees and feels in daily life into her own design inspiration, and to convey the beauty of life skilfully through clothing. Her works are always full of fantasy and vague gender elements, blurring the boundaries of gender while showing the charm of clothing.

DEBORAH ODUBANJO

Deborah Odubanjo is a womenswear designer who graduated at The University For The Creative Arts. Deborah has always had an interest in creating concepts that conventionally may not seem to work, but aesthetically the ideas come together and create a new dimension of ideas.

Deborah focuses on building a strong concept that enables, ongoing development, focusing not only on the story and research behind the concept, but also on the colours, fabrics and the silhouettes and how these compositions also push a narrative in her collection.

DESREE AKORAHSON

Desree Akorahson’s concept ’The Revival’ is based on her curiosity of nature and the issue of many rare flora and fauna becoming extinct. She decided to take on the role of a botanist who travels the world, collecting the seeds of rare flowers and plants because in years to come we may never see them at the height of their beauty.

In her own way, Desree wanted to create memories, like the botanists and revive the extinct by creating bold, colourful prints and garments that reflect the magnificence of what came from nature itself.

DIAN CHEN

Graduated from MA Design (Jewellery) CSM UAL, Dian Chen is now working as an independent jewellery artist in London and Beijing. She uses conceptual jewellery and other body-linked objects as her primary media. Materialising complex concepts, Chen gives a thoughtful debate about the topics of feminism, identity, and gender.

DIMITRI GABELLIER

Hojojutsu is the martial art of using a rope to capture, restrain, transport and display suspects and criminals in Japan during the Middle Ages periods. There were very specific ways of using ropes for law enforcement and to communicate information for different crimes and social rank as a matter of protocol and honour.

Extremely intricate patterns, the complexity of the binding and speed were essential to not let the people understand the techniques and untie themselves.

DINA FUSI

Dina Fusi is a British/Italian embroidery designer specialising in heritage craft techniques. During her time at London College of Fashion, Dina honed these skills and developed her designer identity.

Her latest collection A Plastic Abyss is a continuation of her pre-collection, ‘Disco in Atlantis’ which is inspired by the playful, subversive nature of water and the distorted appearance of interactions within it. A Plastic Abyss explores how a Disco in Atlantis could look today, highlighting the way that micro plastics, over fishing and oil spills have ravaged the marine environment.

DYLAN JOEL

Dylan Joel is a Scottish independent designer based in London. In 2015 he moved to London to study BA Fashion Design Womenswear at London College of Fashion and graduated in 2018.

Dylan Joel aesthetic is androgynous and involves elements of womenswear and menswear which creates a wide variety of silhouettes. From tailored suits to dresses to accessories his garments are often inspired by segments of queer and pop culture throughout history
