HAIPU ZENG

Haipu Zeng studied womenswear at London College of Fashion and is currently based in Shanghai. She explores how individuals move beyond the straightforward notion of similarity towards a freewheeling, fabulously grey area where clothes push the boundaries of originality. Her designs express contrasts of wanting to stand out yet still remain within a group, allowing her collection to evolve into a scenic paradox of keeping to society’s standards while extending a fashion identity.

HAN ZHU

Han Zhu brings both traditional and ancient Chinese history to her pieces. Inspired by her cultural heritage, she translates the past into modern fashion.

Wanting to express lifestyle and attitude through her designs, Han uses a range of different fabric and fine embroidery details in order to embrace Chinese art and virtuosity.

HANNAH BUCKINGHAM

Hannah Buckingham graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in Fashion Design BA (Hons).

Her work focuses on exploring gender-fluidity within fashion and working towards a more inclusive and transparent industry. Her practice lies heavily in creating textiles, particularly working with print and hand-painting techniques, dyeing and knitwear.

HANNAH ENNIS

The Hannah Ennis spring summer 2020 collection ‘Golden Boys’ is the launch for a socially and environmentally sustainable menswear brand that positions itself in the high end menswear market by offering intricate craftsmanship in shapes and materials.

With her Irish/German heritage and upbringing she moved to London to get an education and experience for contemporary menswear and seeks to push the boundaries on traditional shapes and materials.

HANNAH GILBERT

Hannah Gilbert’s collection ‘Not Ur Sim’ brings to life a team of superheroines out of the video game world and into reality. She aims to celebrate the incredible strength and forces that women behold by designing sport style clothing with a futuristic and industrial look as if from another planet.

As a child, instead of believing in superheroes Hannah idolized athletes and perceived them as almighty and otherworldly. Her research examines the roles that women play in video games and also took inspiration from leading females in comics and action movies such as Lara Croft, the Matrix, and Ghost in the Shell.

HANNAH STOTE

The functionality and inherent craft of 18th century fisherman's ganseys and the elegance of the pre-raphaelite women painted by J.W.Waterhouse inspired Hannah Stote’s romantic and whimsical first collection.

Using 100% wool - with 75% of that wool coming from British sheep and spun in the UK - the collection was developed with a focus on reviving craft within fashion, with research featuring traditional gansey knitting patterns and experimenting with scale and texture to reinvent traditional knit stitches, such as cables, plaits and lace knitting.

HANNAH ROSS

Scottish born, London College of Fashion Womenswear Graduate Hannah Ross was inspired by human existence and the unexpected contradictions that surround everyday life in her SS20 collection. With reference to the work of Austrian Artist Erwin Wurm - specifically his 1997 Palmers series, Hannah focused on questioning her own personal style by photographing herself for a full year, drawing inspiration from her bright green duster coat, yoga clothes and men's charity shop tailored suit jackets - all of which were initial catalyst for her collection.

Holly Farrow is a womenswear designer graduating from her BA at the University of Derby in 2020. Holly’s inspiration for design comes frrom her interest in the sciences, Particularly that of the human body and astronomy. Holly Macleod’s first collection is inspired by misplacement and the idea of not belonging. Holly found inspiration from collages, hybrid animals and flytipping.

Honor Cameron is a Womenswear designer based in London. She completed her BA(Hons) degree in Fashion at the University of Brighton in 2019. Her design outcomes are often concept-driven and heavily influenced by a desire to embody a mood or feeling.

When creating her degree collection, Blackberrying, Honor used an introspective viewpoint to inspire her clothing, focusing on the feeling of nostalgia and fear.
