Her background has continuously influenced her work, a mix between East and West, the heritage of such cultures and the stories of all among them. Specifically she focused on the Peranakans local to the Malaysian Archipelago, where the western culture had a massive influence throughout the development of the area.

Having travelled around Switzerland and Vienna, Laura Capello learnt about handcrafting techniques within women's tailoring. Her current collection is based on the combination of the Victorian times and sci-fi spacesuits. Both areas of highly detailed clothing and both having their own way of elegance.
Achieving a look which is feminine, elegant, modern and sexy was what Laura focussed on creating. With a simple colour palette and an eye for construction and detail, the collection has a clean grown up feel for a sophisticated woman.

As a lover of getting dressed up and going out with the girls, I created an occasionwear collection whilst in my final year at The University for the Creative Arts, based on the performers I saw working in Ibiza. I am passionate about statement clothes that celebrate the female form and once I graduate, I will be looking to experiment further with occasion/evening wear. I work mostly in monochrome however, I love to mix up the textures of fabrics I work with to add depth to my garments.

The initial inspiration is from Henry David Thoreau's article 'Civil Disobedience' which brings me a sense of living and inspires me to focus on how to liberate the human body and conscious in a homogeneous society. I create my own methodology based on experiments and the original pattern cutting technique half-cut.

LOOM LOOP
Loom Loop was founded by Polly Ho and Andy Wong, once is a dreamer the other is a perfectionist, it was a chance encounter with a 300 year old heritage fabric. When the designers saw the heritage fabric called the Canton silk, they were bowled over by the artisan techniques employed to dye the silk, it uses plant based dye, river mud and solar power.
It is eco-friendly though the process is painstaking it transforms the delicate and fragile silk into something with more substance that can withstand the test of time. The unusual texture and its unique appearance are the result of the organic process and chemistry from all the elements from nature.

His great passion for drawing and all that concerns creativity made him a very open minded person who's always seeking for originality and contrast with common social rules.
