Sara Chyan's works take a minimalistic approach with conceptual support. Sara tries to draw on a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way, likes to involve the viewer in a way that is sometimes physical and believes in the idea of function following form in a work. Her works respond directly to the human body and surrounding environment, and uses everyday experience from the artist as a starting point.
Sara believes that jewellery is an object that carries more than just an intrinsic significance, for it is not merely an ornament but also a medium for expressing one’s individuality, which is what drives her to creating her awe-inspiring, picturesque jewellery pieces.

Sarah Garfield is a young, London based, Womenswear designer, who graduated in 2017 from Ravensbourne. Having grown up in London, Sarah was continually taking in the City’s rebellious, non-conformist, often outlandish sense of dress, particularly as a teenager, which is deeply entrenched into her design DNA. There is a clear sense of adolescent rebellion in her clothing, to be expressed at any age.
Sarah’s main aesthetic combines a subtle darkness with a sad, fragile beauty. She mixes delicate, nymph-like historical references, with modern references to strong, forceful female subcultures and confident female sexuality. The main focus is contrast, giving a bittersweet feel.

Sarah Thompson explores the relationship the British farming community have to their clothing. The value in which they place upon practical attire and attachments they gain. Growing up within the remote North Yorkshire Moors, her clothing focused on practicality, durability and the ability to mend, alter and longevity often becoming sentimental.
Through this cycle of deconstruction snd mending came an accidental shabby signature aesthetic, which has formed by design signature and one that this collection has explore.

Sasha Louise graduated in Womenswear at London College of Fashion and interned for Michael Van Der Ham during his first collection for Fashion East, collaging beautiful dresses together.
Later Sasha started working for Kim West, this is where her Latex career started. Experimenting with the material more and more she made her own fabric, Latex net. Sasha admits latex net is a material that was created from being too broke to buy latex sheeting and through trial and error she came up with this technique that creates unique clothing pieces.

The brand name “Kill King Thrushbeard” comes from Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale King Thrushbeard. The story portrays a young, beautiful princess being humiliated by King Thrushbeard because of her pride and sarcastic nature. Even so, she accepts his so-called love gratefully at the end for he offers her fancy clothes and the position of the queen. Kill King Thrushbeard is to celebrate women’s intelligence, and the belief of sarcasm as a sign of humour and philosophical thinking.

Shaofen launched her namesake label in 2019, offering timeless, modern yet effortless Ready-to-wear pieces. A Menswear Design graduate from the London College of Fashion, Steve Jin decided to find inspiration for his first collection through introspection and opposition. As a minimalist with high standards of cleanliness, Steve wanted to incorporate these personal aspects.
At the same time, he wanted to create tension and found himself fascinated by the festivalgoers of Woodstock – their fluid motions and carefree nature. Marrying these two seemingly contradictory ideas together, he coloured his garments with hand embroidered flowers and softer lines on a delicate palette. The collection made use of fusing together and modernising traditional draping and tailoring techniques.
